Trial of the "Award Winning Strawberry Scones"

I love love love watching Father Brown and more than once have I heard about "Mrs. McCarthy's Award Winning Strawberry Scones". Even season 1, episode 1 raved about them. Her Irish edition to a delicious dessert just made it seem even better! I have been so curious to try them. Recently, I found a recipe online for them and tried it out: Mrs. McCarthy's Strawberry Scones
They were surprisingly easy to make & kind of fun πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ The best part about it is that they tasted and smelled delicious the minute they were finished from the oven.
Honestly, if you want to stop at this point, it was absolutely fine with me because they are delicious!! I wanted to have the full experience though so I finished them off:
I put my own twist to the recipe. Blackberries and Strawberries are two of my favorite berries. I used both strawberry preserves and blackberry preserves.
They came out a little small because I cut the dough a little smaller than the recipe instructed. The two trays are because I wanted to try different whipped creams in them. One has dairy-less whipped cream and the Dairy-full whipped cream. Both of them tasted incredible with either cream. PLEEEASE definitely give them a try! Just AMAAAAAZING πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

πŸŽ‰What a Mardi Gras πŸŽ‰

Happy Mardi Gras πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ I never thought tomato sauce and Gnocchi would work as I have only ever had Gnocchi with a creamy, cheesey sauce. I will say, this was pretty incredible. My family finished it in less than a day! The Bertolli Sauce was icing on the cake πŸ˜„ Flavor to taste & do try! I would love to hear how it all went!

Gnocchi-licious!!

Such an exciting Monday for me because Gnocchi is my most FAVORITE pasta EVER! It had been a while since I have had it. One day while shopping at Kroger, I went through the Pasta isle to go to the front to pay for my items. I looked up and saw that beautiful "Dellalo - Potato Gnocchi" wonder! To flavor it, I warmed up the Classico Alfredo sauce with butter, milk, and melted cheese within it. I may have gone a BIT overboard with the sauce and cheese amount πŸ˜…πŸ˜…, but it was definitely worth it && delicious πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ The abundance of leftover sauce is QUITE delicious with bread πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ The poor vegans in my household in tears, but next version will be for them. Hopefully the next time, I can work on making the Gnocchi from scratch. It will be quite a milestone in my Culinary journey: Pasta from scratch πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Enjoy your trials! If you try this out, let me know how it goes! I would love to hear about your experience!
